Where does the Money Come From?

In 2008/2009 the Stow Community Chest raised almost $58,000.

• 70% came from individual donations ranging form $20 to $5,000

• 30% came from business donations

Where does the money go?

The funds from the annual campaign are distributed to non-profit agencies which apply for funding.  The rough annual breakdown of how the money is distributed is shown below. For more information on particular programs see the Community Assistance Programs section.

The Stow Community Chest is very efficient!

With very low overhead and a local focus we are able to maximize the benefits of your contributions to meet the needs of our community.

We also extend our gratitude to the following donors whose contributions paid for the expenses of our fundraising campaign so that l00% of individual and family donations can be allocated to support the organizations we fund:
