Where does the Money Come From?

In 2011/2012 the Stow Community Chest raised over $65,000.

• 71% came from individual donations from over 350 Stow Households ranging form $20 to $5,000

• 18% came from local businesses

• 11% came from the the Stow Gobbler 5K Road Race and the Stow Story Slam

Where does the money go?

The funds from the annual campaign are distributed to non-profit agencies which apply for funding.  The rough annual breakdown of how the money is distributed is shown below. For more information on particular programs see the Community Assistance Programs section.

As an all volunteer organization with very low overhead and a local focus we are able to maximize the benefits of your contributions to meet the needs of our community.
